Pacific
1. Phoenix (class of division)
2. Golden State (how much will they miss J-Rich??)
3. LA Lakers (still, basically, a one man team)
4. Sacramento (bad team chemistry)
5. LA Clippers (Elton Brand will miss alot of the season)
Southwest
1. San Antonio (defending champs)
2. Dallas (pretty much the same team as last year)
3. Houston (will T-Mac and Yao ever win a playoff series??)
4. New Orleans (if they stay healthy, they could surprise)
5. Memphis (Poor Pau Gasol, he deserves better)
Northwest
1. Utah (well coached, with solid players at every position)
2. Denver (will the Nuggets EVER win a first round playoff series??)
3. Seattle (team will struggle, but Durant should win ROY)
4. Portland (losing Greg Oden for season really hurts)
5. Minnesota (this team will really struggle without KG)
Agree, disagree?? Comments??
My preseason predictions in the nba western conference??nba fantasy
Impressive, but the only changes I would make are:
Dallas and San Antonio
New Orleans and Memphis
Denver and Utah*
*If AK holds out, Utah will definitely miss his cutthroat Defense, whether or not he played a big role in the offense doesn't matter, his presence on the floor was definitely felt, as he was the only post defender on the team, as well as a great perimeter defender. Boozer can't defend, and Okur is very limited. This could be outdone by the improvement of Deron Williams however...if they play fast enough, they might have the quickness to double team and still get back to cover the open man.

I only disagree in he Pacific and Northwest divisions. I think Kobe can lead them to second in that division. I also think that depth in a fast-paced NBA matters. Thus, I think Minnesota will finish third and Seattle last.
Pretty much rite exept switch around LA and GS and Utah and Denver
I generally agree with your rankings. The only noteworthy difference is the Southwest with the Houston Rockets. Rockets has potential to be 2nd in Southwest (with 3rd or 4th seed in playoffs) or win the division outright. Rockets are improving, deep roster, tough, defense, scoring, speed. If Yao and T-Mac stay healthy, Rockets will win a lot more games than last year.
I actually think the Dallas Mavs will have more wins as usual and the Houston Rockets (if they stay healthy) will take the second spot for the season, but the Spurs win when it counts. Denver should win more games this year than Utah due to Kirilenko's possibility of leaving the team. Pretty much other then that I agree except for Seattle being 3rd, give Portland some props will ya? They have a good team anyways with Aldridge and Roy getting more time this year.
Lakers will do better than Warriors because they have derek fisher and warriors don't have Jason Richardson.
pretty good, but warriors are winning it all
go warriors!
pretty good rankings
All I have to say is that the Houston Rockets will be in the West Finals.
